I never used to be a fan of iris - beareded iris in particular but I have since found a spot in my heart and garden for some of them now. Here in S.E. Michigan, the bearded irises are starting to bloom. . . . more

I love the Georgia Botanical Gardens located in Athens, Georgia and visit every time I can. In the Visitor's Center they have an area which is just for tropical plants and a wall of nothing but ordhids. . . . more
